Overview

When we thought about introducing a PVE mode, I wanted to give players more creative freedom. So, I worked with our programmers and mentor to figure out which monster attributes could be user-adjustable. This meant we also had to tweak the monsters' behavior to accommodate these changes. In the end, we aimed to give players as much control as possible over the game settings

Script

  • Work with engineers to expose certain parameters to the players.

  • Adjusted monster assets ported from other gameplay styles and modified the behavior tree to fit the creative mode.

  • Test how parameters affect the behavior tree and make adjustments accordingly.
