Detailed Info

  • The game is a Psychedelic Game with a style primarily focused on psychedelic colors. The entire gameplay lasts about 10 minutes and is divided into three stages, each roughly 3 minutes long. The first stage is a standard 2D side-scrolling platformer. The second stage involves exploration and gradually uncovering the truth through puzzle-solving. The third stage is about uncovering the truth through choices made in dialogue.

Level Design

I'm working on a level design for a game centered around a comic artist overwhelmed by real-world pressure, who escapes into a fantastical world of their own creation.

  • Part 1: You start in a weird world with robot monsters. You need to fight these monsters and find a way out. Signs and talking boxes will give you hints and teach you how to play. As you go further, things get more mixed up, showing you that this world isn't real and you're close to finding out something important.

  • Part 2: This part is about exploring dark areas, kind of like the game Limbo. You find bits of your real life in this dream world, especially in the darker sections. This helps you slowly learn the truth.

  • Part 3: After you learn the truth, the game progresses. Now, you solve puzzles by interacting with text boxes on the screen, helping you get lose member

  • Final Part: At the end, you will choose your path during an inner conversation. Stay in the fantasy world, or go back to real life and face the challenges. This part is inspired by the train station scene in Harry Potter and the choice of pills in The Matrix.
